59  Possible get together in June 04 for the Class of 59. A backyard barbeque at Jacks Place. Reported by Donna Brenner on March 15, 2004. Karen Anderson Hughes is updating the mailing list. Ron--Class of '57-- did Jackie Toney Pizarro make the change for our cruise in May 2004? It is leaving on the 8th (not 16th) and it is Mexico not Caribbean.

Also, we are planning the '57's 50th reunion in 2007. We have scheduled it for the DoubleTree Hotel downtown Tulsa on the weekend of June 16th & 17th. Thanks...

Contact: :  Sue Karn Turner Several classmates have asked me about having another picnic this year - so I'm going to set the date for September 28, 2002. Leake Park has a grill for cooking, parking for about 40 cars, and a bicycle trail. I'm planning on it being a bring-your-own like last year.

We are still in the very early stages of planning, but this is our current plan: The Reunion will be October 24-26, 2003 Tentative theme: "Rediscover Central Tulsa -- After 40 Years!" As usual, we will plan a casual event for Fri. night and a dinner for Sat. night. We will use a downtown hotel as the gathering site. There will be a tour of the current Central to see historic items and memorabilia that were moved from the old building. We will provide a list of options for Sat. activities such as golf, tours of the Tulsa Zoo, Gilcrease Museum, Downtown Tulsa Underground. The general idea is to focus on events in the area of town where we grew up and went to school. Thus, downtown, Gilcrease museum, Mohawk park, etc. Do you have any ideas along these lines? Adams, Debbie Cagle   Let me introduce myself.....my name is Deborah L. Adams Cagle. I went to Central High School for two years and one week. I got married and my new husband was stationed in Altus, OK at the Air Force base there. I have paper work showing I graduated from their high school, but my heart was at Central all the time. I have wanted to get in contact with some of the people that I grew up with and went to school with (Lincoln Elementary, Horce Mann Jr. High, Central High) but I wasn't completely sure how reunions worked when you technically didn't graduate at that particular school.
