Eddie Lanning, Don Blackburn, Norm Berg, Art Couch, and a few others are planning a mini reunion for Friday and Saturday, June 10 and 11, 2005, at the Embassy Suites (800/362-2779), near 31st and Memorial here in Tulsa. If you came to the one last year, you know how much fun we had just catching up one-on-one.

It is quite informal, i.e. no planned program, just good times. If you want to be there and you are from out of town, or in Tulsa and just want to spend the night at the Embassy so you won't miss any of the fun, please let the hotel know that you are with the Tulsa Central Class of '57 and you should get a special rate and they will try to book us into the closest possible area. Also, the hotel provides a complimentary cocktail hour plus a free "full" breakfast. Since they don't allow drinks to be taken downstairs feel free to BYOB!

We had quite a gab session at our mini-reunion this past weekend. Everyone seemed to be doing fine--they looked really good, too. We had 4 or 5 people that had never been to a reunion before. People from California, Colorado, Missouri, North Carolina and Texas to name a few. Of course, many of our Oklahoma classmates were there too.
Everyone agreed that we should continue these mini-reunions, so the plan is the same for next year. Second weekend in June at the Embassy Suites in Tulsa.

Hello all: As many of you know, Jack Davis had graciously invited us to hold a class picnic at his home in Broken Arrow tentatively scheduled for June, but sadly, Jack's wife, Joan, passed away last month. He contacted Nick the other day and is now anxious to proceed. Due to Oklahoma's heat in summertime, we are looking at the last Saturday in September, the 25th. I realize it is too far for some of you to come for just an afternoon but am including you in the e-mail in case you might be in the area at that time. I don't know what the shared expense will be but assume it will be minimal. Will let you know once we have all of the numbers.

Please let me know if you will be able to attend and if you have an e-mail address for someone in our class that is not included in this message, please send it to me.
